Sue describes the feeling of walking into EuroNest as similar to entering a friend’s house. Creating that feeling has been intentional. Both she and Lori, who have known one another since working together during earlier buying days at Target, wanted to create a warm and welcoming environment where one feels comfortable just stopping in to see what’s new.
As someone who wears several hats at EuroNest, not only as that of a buyer but also in managing day-to-day operations, Sue many times is also found on the sales floor welcoming customers and sharing nuances and behind-the scenes stories of the merchandise she helped select. In her opinion, traveling with Lori to European and U.S. markets where they discover antiques, antique reproductions and an eclectic assortment of exquisite accessories—that she’d really like for her own home—is simply a perk.
When not at EuroNest, Sue can be found at home in Victoria with a six-month old. Make that a six-month old Cocker Spaniel puppy named Mac. What keeps her in shape for buying trips and life with a puppy? Equal parts yoga, biking, and the energizing aspects of warm, sunny weather and working with colleagues she considers friends.
